TSV 1860 München e.V. symbolises enduring spirit and community connection. Known for its historic successes and challenges, the club has captivated fans across Germany and beyond for over 160 years. Often overshadowed by its more famous and “noisy” neighbor, TSV 1860 München e.V. has a rich and deep heritage that continues to unite generations of fans.‍

The Jersey: A Canvas of History and Identity.

The collaboration features a bespoke jersey that stands as a tribute to the club’s loyal supporters. Designed in the club’s main colors, green and gold, the jersey features 17 stripes, each representing the diverse sports sections within the club. The centerpiece is the iconic coat of arms, reimagined in gold, and symbolizing the club’s pride and tradition.

This jersey is more than just a piece of clothing; it’s a celebration of the community’s devotion and the club’s storied history. Crafted with input from club representatives, the design process was deeply collaborative, ensuring that the final product resonates with the club’s identity and fans.

Two years after the first release of the green and gold jersey, we return to a design that has become a symbol of TSV 1860 München and the community surrounding it. The jersey was originally created as a tribute to the club’s history and its many different facets. Its 17 stripes represent the 17 sporting departments of TSV 1860 München, while the green and gold colourway and reimagined coat of arms reflect the pride and tradition carried through generations of supporters.

For this new edition, the focus shifts from the jersey itself to the people who give it meaning. Photographed across Munich, the campaign brings together supporters from different backgrounds, professions and generations. Each has their own relationship with the club, but they are united by a shared sense of loyalty, belonging and identity. They are the people who carry the club through everyday life. In their neighbourhoods, workplaces, families and communities. Their connection goes far beyond matchday and cannot be measured only in results or league tables.

This is not simply another release of a jersey. It is our homage to the people who make TSV 1860 München what it is.
